Just been kinda busy but underemployed and hence a little short on thefinancials. Anyway, I still decided to go ahead with the tattoo project, and we had the first work session on Monday. I think we got about 7,5 hours of work done, not counting breaks every 2 hours or so. I've now got the Black Tortoise of the North finished on my upper back, and most of the linework for the Vermilion Bird of the South is done as well. It was kinda weird when I was getting it done, the upper back was much more sensitive and painful to take than the lower back, even though of course the bird was only done in linework for now. Harrison could've kept going of course and done the rest of the lines and then the shading for the Bird, but I'd had enough at that point. The sensation changed dramatically towards the end so that when he was doing some of the final details in the stencil he'd transferred onto my back, it felt like sparks running along my nerves whenever he did another bit of line. So we decided to call it a day.

The tats have healed very nicely, most of the scabbing's fallen already, which is nice (Bit less of a mess on the bed in the mornings). I'll be sure to post pics once it's fully healed, probably sometime next week.

We've also been packing stuff up in preparation for the big move coming up in a month. We've got the CDs and books boxed up now, as well as vases, candles and such that we won't be needing before the move. Most of the books and all the CDs are already at J's parents' place, and I just packed my books today.

That's all I got right now. Two more weeks at Stockmann, then three weeks at Sarpaneva, and then we move. Not long to go now...
